02 BOOTH PRICE

The booth prices vary from their different locations in the hall. For the price of each specific booth, please see the detailed ground plan in the last page.
Class I: RMB1700/m2; Class II: RMB1600/m2;
Exhibition Policy for Early Birds
Applicants who successfully apply and pay for their booth can enjoy the following discount in accordance to the dates:
1. 30% off before 6.30;
2. 20% off before 8.31;
3. 10% off before 9.30.
 

03 APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Step 1: Application  Deadline: Sep 30th, 2018
Filled Application Form, including the introduction of the applicant and the artists list with the signature of the responsible person. Submit the materials via e-mail official@szartex.com to the committee.
Step 2: Verification & Qualification
The Committee has the right to ask the exhibitors to provide detailed content of the exhibiting works and the plans, and to refuse works which are not in demanding.
The Committee will send a Confirmation Letter through e-mail or fax to the qualified applicants, to confirm the location and payment.
Confirmed applicants (exhibitors) pay the exhibition fee in accordance with the Confirmation Letter.
Step 3: Catalogue and Booth Design  Deadline: Oct 15th, 2018
Exhibitors submit the Catalogue Registration Form and relevant materials of the artworks for the catalogue publication and other promotion.
Exhibitor submits Booth Construction Plan.
Step 4: Exhibits Arrangement
1. When receiving the total exhibition fee and exhibit materials, the Committee conducts the exhibition arrangement with exhibitors in November.
2. The Committee sends Exhibition Manual and Construction Notification to exhibitors through express. Exhibitors attend the fair in accordance with the schedule in the Exhibition Manual.
 

04 PAYMENT & RELATED MATTERS

Exhibitors are required to pay 30% advances of exhibition fee within 5 days since receiving the valid Confirmation Letter and pay the 70% rest fee within 15 days after the subscription of the Confirmation Letter as per the official account of the Committee:

Any exhibitor who has not paid in full by the deadline will be regarded as withdrawing the participation. In this case, the Committee may lend the booth to others and retain the paid amount. If any exhibitor would not be able to come to participate due to some individual reasons, the paid rental will not be returned to the exhibitor.
 

05 EXHIBITION DETAIL

1. THE EXHIBITORS & THE ARTWORKS 
EXHIBITORS: galleries, art corporations, art foundations and institutes.
ARTWORKS: water & ink, calligraphy, water colors, paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, installations, and etc.
2. EXHIBITION HALL & FACILITIES
VENUE: Hall 8, Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (http://www.szcec.com)
AREA & HEIGHT: about 75,000square meters with the height of 12 meter
BUSINESS CENTER: telephone, fax, typewriter, spray, printing, consigning, ticket-booking, and etc.
3. Booth Operation
Once the full booth rental is paid, the exhibitor is entitled to operate the booth. Without the Committee's authority, the exhibitor is not allowed to lend the booth entirely or partially, upon or without consideration to others. Illegally occupying the passages and any shared area are strictly forbidden.
Artworks and products that are not submitted in the application cannot be shown or advertised in the booth. Otherwise, the exhibitor shall be legally responsible for breaking the contract. The Committee has the right to revoke the exhibitor's participation qualification and the exhibitor shall be liable for the full booth rental.
4.Standard Service

Exhibitors can apply for extra facilities for booth design besides the standard service. Please hand in the Booth Construction Plan to the committee before the required date and once it is approved, please pay for the facilities on time.
5. Insurance
The Committee has insured the event. Requested by the Committee, all exhibitors shall obtain insurance coverage for exhibits on display, and must provide the Committee with copy of the insurance certificate. Otherwise, the Committee will not take any responsibility in case of direct or indirect loss that the exhibitors suffers during the Fair.
6. Security
From the installation to dismantling day, the guardians will be on patrol 24 hours a day in the venue. In order to guarantee the security, guardians are entitled to refuse anyone to take the exhibits out of the venue without the Exhibit Leaving Card.
7. Intellectual Property
Exhibitors shall guarantee all the exhibits on display or for sale and the provided character and graphic documents never commit any violation of the third party's intellectual property. If the Committee and its higher authority suffer any loss caused by exhibitor's violation acts, the Committee and its higher authority have the right to request the exhibitor to take the responsibility for the related compensation, litigation cost and attorney fees incurred.
8. Force Majeure
In the event of compelling reasons or in the case of force majeure including earthquake, catastrophic weather, war, strike, turbulence and epidemic etc, the Committee is entitled to postpone, extend, or shorten the exhibition duration. The Committee is not liable for incurred costs except for the booth rental.
9. Legal Effect
Once submitting the Application Form,the exhibitor shall be regarded as absolutely accepting the regulations, which is legally binding on the both parties of the exhibitor and the Committee. Should the wording of the regulations give rise to differences of opinion in translation, the Chinese version shall be binding. All the legal affairs during the execution of regulations shall be governed by the current Laws of People's Republic of China. Any dispute shall be brought to People's Court of Futian District in Shenzhen, China.
